I do owned couple of Bluetooth speakers and some of them are the cheapo ones. I was surprised this Antec Wav portable Bluetooth speaker has decent audio quality and also with the built in mic for hands-free calling is crystal clear. This does not have a deep bass which is expected for its category but bass is enough to produce good sound quality. This is great for listening live concerts or acoustic type of music. Upon observing this speaker I do noticed that this consist of 3 speakers lot better than other portable Bluetooth speakers usually has only 1-2 speakers. This has bass, mid-range and tweeter speakers. What I do like about this speaker: *Has sleek stylish design and looks nice when placing on book shelves or table. *Light and easy to carry around. *Has soft touch buttons *It has voice assistant that talks when you power it ON and when it is connected to a bluetooth device which is cool feature. *NFC feature is a plus and this makes... I have two computers in close proximity. The older one uses a tiny Bluetooth Antec Wedge for a speaker. I connected my newer build to a fine set of old Altec Lansing computer speakers. But that setup cluttered up my work space area with multiple speakers, and there were wires running everywhere. I was tired of the dust-catching mess, and I wanted a simpler arrangement. The Antec WAV was perfectly suited for my needs. I bought a USB Bluetooth adapter, plugged it into my computer, and paired it with the WAV. In a couple of minutes I had what I wanted, sound without wires. And unlike my wired speakers, I can easily move the WAV around on my desktop. Of course, I did not expect the deep bass I got from my heavy-duty, dedicated woofer, but what surprised and pleases me is the voice quality I get from the WAV. Most of my audio needs are associated with listening to things like news reports and YouTube videos, not music. The voice-quality that comes out of the WAV is actually... Read more

Customer Video Review Length:: 5:04 MinsThis speaker includes the instructions, warranty card, a micro USB charging cable (approximately 2 feet, 6 inches long) and a male to male Aux cable (approximately 3 feet 2 inches long). Antec enters the crowded portable Bluetooth speaker market with the Wav and it other line of portable speakers. I have been familiar with Antec in the computer parts realm for quite a long time and have used some of their power supplies in the past which have always been solid, so I was curious to see if that good reputation translates to their speaker line. This speaker has a stylish upright design, looks durably made and feels solid with some weight to it, but is still portable and easy to carry around. The top of the speaker has the volume buttons, play/pause/answer/hang up buttons, mode button, and next back buttons. The touch buttons are nicely spaced and easy to push and use. They could be marked a bit more clearly but luckily the... Read more |
